Corporate Blogging


A corporate weblog is published and used by an organization to reach its organizational goals. There are many different types of corporate blogs, most can be categorized as either external or internal. Blogging can play an important role in both internal and external communications of your organization.
Internally blogs are generally referred to as tools for collaboration and knowledge management. It also accessed through the corporation’s Intranet, is a weblog that any employee can view. Internal blogs can be especially useful when the people are involved in different locations and may be used in place of meetings and e-mail discussions.

An external blog is a publicly available weblog where company employees, teams, or spokespersons share their views. In external communications the potential benefits include strengthened relationships with important target groups and the positioning of the publishing organization or individuals within it as industry experts.It is often used to announce new products and services to explain and clarify policies, or to react on public criticism on certain issues.

With corporate blog, there has been created a place where customers and prospects spend more time with our company brand. The kind you can expect from blogs is mainly about stronger relations with important target groups. In a forum where your main objective is not to sell, you’ll have a more personal relationship between you and your customers. Blogs are a fast way to join the customers’ discussions, provide tips and insights or receive feedback. It’s part of a conversation where people can comment, and the blog can provide you with a measure of value. Does anyone link to you? What do they say?

Why we need to start blogging nowadays? As blogs are user-friendly and very easy to use and navigate and they can become an active networking source for your business. Blogging gives your interested parties a place to come to learn about you. They can start to see how you both would benefit from knowing each other. This is a much more effective way to network and you don’t need to worry about your business card being thrown in the trash.
